Huntington Middle School Bands

2011/2012

Spartan band is a year-long course designed to build upon the learnings of children with at least one year’s experience on a band instrument. In a group setting, students will perform a wide variety of music at a number of public concerts. Dependent upon student/teacher ratios, these performances will occur within both a traditional mass band ensemble as well as in the more challenging and rewarding structures afforded by small ensemble experiences.

The course is designed to be as non-threatening as possible. A positive approach is stressed and each student is allowed to develop his/her own talents at their own rate of realization.

May 5 - Carver Carnival

May 23 - Band Awards Concert

June 4 - Graduation Rehearsal 12:30 to 2:30

June 5 - Graduation 5 to 7:30
